On the day of Halloween, many lights can be seen at night by travelers. This atmospheric ghost light is known as will-o’-the-wisp, will-o’-wisp or ignis fatuus. The light is of the lighting lamp and people said that we have to change our way if it is approaching towards us. This phenomenon is known by the variety of names like jack-o’-lanterns, hinkypunk, hobby lantern and friar’s lanterns. In United States, this is known as spook-lights, ghost-lights or orbs. On Halloween night, people observed the ghost activities like movement of candles or other lighting sources with long sticks. In some countries, people believe that this is the spirit of Jack roaming here and there for finding place to rest. Some people thinks that these lights can harm anybody so people should not go out in forest or other lonely places.
